Yesterday, after what seemed like endless rain, we had half a day of sunshine, and I think I may have absorbed some Vitamin D. On the way to Winslow more than half the width of the road was flooded on the last bend before the A413. The skies above were blue, but whichever way I looked a bank of clouds just sat on the horizon. It appeared as if they were being held back by something, and so were forced to pile up one on top of the other. Like an isolated world enclosed by mountain ranges on every side.
